T.H.E. T.E.A.M. training is a continuation of your hospital orientation. T.H.E. stands for Total Healing Environment and T.E.A.M. stands for Transition, Esteem, Awareness and Mission. This training focuses on the vital role you play on THE TEAM and how each team member can better serve the needs of our patients, visitors and co-workers. The concepts and techniques you will learn will enable you to contribute in a meaningful way to the vision of a Total Healing Environment at YRMC.

Your Department Orientation, coordinated by your supervisor, will include a tour of your department, introductions to team mates, review and discussion of your job description as well as all the pertinent information and training you will need to get started in your position and in your department. You and your supervisor will also set expectations and goals for your successful 90-day review.
During your 1st 90 days (and forward), you can anticipate being encouraged and supported by other team members in your department and to a warm reception from all other YRMC employees, volunteers, physicians, patients, and visitors.
